Muc-Off Cleaner was launched as a brand by X-Lite in 1994 in a joint venture with Loctite, but when Loctite dropped out of the partnership 2 years later X-Lite continued to push Muc-off and began expanding the brand into a full range of bike care products.

As sales continued to grow and the range continued to expand, with their now comprehensive bicycle range complimented by products for automotive, motorcycle, campervan and marine, X-Lite decided it was time for Muc-Off to take the next step.

In 2007 Muc-Off Ltd was formed and is now housed in a 12,000 square foot premises which includes manufacturing, warehousing, R & D, marketing and design and allows them to push Muc-Off Products onto the Global stage.
