The Showers Pass VelEau is a unique bicycle-mounted hydration system designed specifically for cycling. The VelEau Hydration System eliminates the need for a cumbersome backpack-style hydration pack and is a safer and more easily accessible alternative to traditional bottles and bottle cages.

Fitting Instructions

1. Rear Reel
2. Front Reel
3. Gravity Kit (clip, base & O-rings)

(1) INSTALL THE REELS

Install the rear reel (a) just below the seat post clamp. Install the front reel (b) on the head tube, ideally on the non-rotating area just below the headset. Trim excess hook and loop strap material

(2) INSTALL THE GRAVITY KIT

Install the Gravity Kit mid-span on the top tube by looping an o-ring around the top tube and hooking it to both sides of the base. (Select the one o-ring from the kit that provids the tightest comfortable fit. You do not need the other two o-rings.)

(3) INSTALL THE TUBE

Feed the curved end of the drinking tube between BOTH sets of seat rails and attach it to the reels and gravity kit clips.

(4) ATTACH THE TUBE TO THE BAG, AND THE BAG TO THE BIKE.

Feed the back end of the drinking tube through the hole in the seatpost block (a) and attach it to the barbed outlet on the bottle (b). Then connect the bag to your bike by feeding the ladder strap (c) through both seat rails and into the buckle (d).

(5) SECURE THE BAG TO THE BIKE.

Tighten the ladder strap by pulling on the silver handle several times until the pack is tight. To release the buckle, push down on the two small black levers. Fasten the seatpost strap around the seatpost by hooking it through the D-ring and doubling back.

(6) FINE TUNE.

Adjust the tube position in the clips until the clip magnets sit flat against the Reels and Gravity Kit base.

(7) TRIM THE TUBE.

Remove the elbow and bite valve, trim the tube to a length that allows for a comfortable reach, and press the elbow and bite valve back onto the tube.

NOTICE!

To release the buckle on the ladder strap press DOWN on the two lever arms simultaneously. Some installs will require a little extra force to undo the buckle so you might need to press hard.
