700 x 33 Clement MXP Tubular Tyre

An excellent all conditions cyclocross tyre, the Clement MXP features an intermediate tread pattern based on the classic Clement Grifo of years past. Some changes to the pattern include cuts in the centre knobs to allow more flex through the tread as well as more aggressive side knobs with their shape inspired by a soccer cleat. With its soft rubber compound for extra grip and shock absorption, the MXP excels on grass, loose dirt, sand, moderate mud, hard pack, snow and pavement. If you could only have one cyclocross tire, this is the one to have.

Clement Tubular tyres are constructed tubeless (they have no internal tube) and instead the entire casing is airtight. This creates a very lightweight tyre that is also resistant to punctures. The removable valve core also means you can easily add sealant if you get a puncture or are going to be riding in areas where punctures might be more likely.

Clement tubulars are manufactured differently to many others, the sidewall is much more durable than traditional tubulars and is coated in rubber to prevent deterioration from water, mud, and dirt. The tread is also manufactured as an integral part of the tyre meaning the tread can't peel away or become detached from the casing.
